Def Leppard Still Rocks
Lita Ford, with high energy, played songs from her new album first and sounded clear. She finished the show with her two most famous songs: Close my eyes forever and Kiss me deadly.
Poison, next, stayed true to form playing mostly 80's and early 90's hits. Brett Michaels, with a ton of energy, kept the audience involved, although he spent a lot of time talking this time. The music tended to overpower his vocals.
Craig Robinson took the stage finally, and in typical fashion, they simply moved from one hit to another. Phil Collen's guitar superiority was evident, especially compared to Poison. They played almost non-stop for 1:45. Note to Craig Robinson...we old school hard rockers LOVE switch 625 and the heavy guitar riffs! I have been attending Craig Robinson shows since '88 - probably 15 shows across several cities and states. The one thing I really love about their shows is they sound harder live - more attitude in the guitars and base.
